For most first-time buyers, the process of buying a home is overcast by a fear of the unknown. Many of my clients who haven’t purchased a home before aren’t sure what to do or where to go.
First-Time Home Buyers – Never Fear. Pat Is Here!
It’s my job to educate you about the markets and make the process as enjoyable, efficient, and happy an experience as possible. I want my clients to have the time of their lives. That’s my goal!
What You Can Expect From Pat As Your Buyer’s Real Estate Agent:
- Educates you about your market.
- Analyzes your wants and needs.
- Guides you to homes that fit your criteria.
- Coordinates the work of other needed professionals.
- Negotiates on your behalf.
- Checks and double-checks paperwork and deadlines.
- Solves any problems that may arise.
First and foremost, as your agent I will serve as your market consultant. That is, you can depend on me to educate you about your local real estate market and make sure you understand everything you need and want to know about the local home-buying process.
After orienting you to your market, I will help you analyze what exactly you need and want in a home—including things you may never have considered—so that when you take to the streets looking for homes, you’ll know exactly what your’re looking for.
Then I will guide you through a home-to-home search for a property that meets all your needs and as many of your wants as possible.
As you move ahead in the home-buying process, other specialized advisers, such as a mortgage officer and property inspector, will also help you complete your purchase. I will coordinate all the professionals involved in your home purchase.
As your negotiator kicks in from the moment you make an offer on a home, and it doesn’t stop until you’ve taken ownership and everything is settled.
Throughout the closing process, a myriad of details will be resolved behind the scenes. As your agent I will constantly check to see that time lines are met, paperwork is completed, updates have been filed, and the important steps are completed.
I will do everything I can to prevent problems when they can be anticipated and solve them when they are unforeseen.
What Is The Buyer Representation Agreement?
If you feel that Pat is the right agent for you, then will actually make a mutual commitment with her through The Buyer Representation Agreement. This formal agreement clarifies the working relationship between the buyer and the real estate agent. It involves making a mutual written commitment—your agent commits to getting you what you want, and you commit to working exclusively with your agent.
